SEBRING - Troy Talbert scored both goals and the Sebring boys soccer team's defense held serve, as the Streaks earned a 2-2 tie against Okeechobee at Firemen's Field on Tuesday.
"We wanted to mix things up tonight since it was a non-district game," said SHS head coach Tim Boulay. "We made some moves that we hope can add a different dimension to the team, as we move forward with the season."
Boulay moved Daniel Klatt to the middle to team him up with Talbert, and the result was two goals against a solid Okeechobee squad.
"Ryan Cochran really came up big for us tonight in goal," Boulay said. "He made some amazing saves and I think the team is really progressing nicely."
Sebring will get a better sense of where they stand in the district when the Streaks play Booker in their next game on Tuesday.
Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
