In reference to an article about "Godless" ads set to appear during the holiday season by "Humanists," their spokesman claims that the reason for doing it during the holidays is to reach out to the non-believers because they feel a little alone during the holidays, because of its association with traditional religion. Um, hello! The holidays are religion. Christmas is about Jesus. It's not just a holiday where we get the day off. Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanza are religious holidays.
If humanists feel alone then they can create their own season of, whatever; but leave our holy days alone. And as for that lonely feeling, well there's a cure for that. Get involved with a charity or group of fellow non-believers. Do something positive but don't attack God or religion. Get a clue.
