Coldwell Banker Offices In Process Of Being Acquired

WAUCHULA — A Wauchula real estate broker is in the process of acquiring the two Coldwell Banker offices in Highlands County.

"We think they are important to Highlands County," said Gary Delatorre, broker for Coldwell Banker AmSouth Realty. "We hope to continue the business the way it is going and get more market share."

The Sebring office is located at the corner of U.S. 27 and Sparta Road and the Lake Placid office is on U.S. 27.

Delatorre said the name Coldwell Banker Highlands Properties, the telephone numbers and Web site will remain the same.

"All that we are doing is changing brokers," he said.

Delatorre said he approached Don Randolph about the transaction. Randolph acquired the two offices in 2005.

Delatorre said he has been in the real estate business since 1981 and has had the Wauchula office since 1989.
