I have concluded that the old mighty government is fooling no one but itself.

The government is unable to prevent any idiot from being an idiot. Their knee-jerk reaction to most preventative measures is not only a violation of rights, but in many cases, a waste of time and taxpayer's money. Like the billions spent to preclude terrorist activities in our airports.

You would think that we could come up with something more beneficial than removing shoes and belts prior to boarding airlines. Oh, and don't forget to bring no more than three ounces of shampoo. The only thing the government is able to consistently accomplish is the building of their machine, higher taxes and the further degradation of personal rights.

I believe our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves or looking down upon us, shaking their heads in disbelief at the actions of our leadership and misinterpretation of the Bill of Rights.

The U.S. government continues to cheat the citizens, young and old alike.

If I were tasked with identifying the most unreasonable entity in our society; it would be the U.S. government.
