A lot of our problems stem from the North American Trade Union plan.
This idea started with NAFTA in Bush Sr.'s administration; many of us knew very little about what NAFTA actually was. I'm sure as we look back and think about how prices have increased as well as the inferiority of the products we're receiving, not many of us would see it as a good thing.
We were told that prices would decrease, which proved not to be the case. It is a part of this one world government plan. As I see it, the greatest cause of the economy situation is our government promoting our industries going overseas. When our people have no way to provide for their families, of course, it will affect the economy. This is causing a strain on our social programs as well as every other part of life.
Construction is like putting a Band-Aid on an amputated limb. Building on everything in existence is doing away with our food supply, causing more dependence on other nations, allowing loans for financing to people who were not equipped to take care of the obligation, only added to the problem, making interests so low on savings that one got very little compensation for the sacrifice made to save for supplementing Social Security.
Immigration has compounded the problem. The number of these people should be limited and they should be required to go through the legal process for citizenship, and if they are not willing to do that, they should be deported. We simply cannot take care of all these people without it destroying our way of life. I love this country and it breaks my heart to see what is happening a little at a time. It is having a domino effect, each thing contributes to something else.
We should all expect a decent wage for our labor and a decent interest on our savings. It's ridiculous to get a phone bill and discover half of it is tax, but that's what is happening today. We don't only have income taxes at the end of the year, we have taxes added to everything we buy and every bill we pay. It has gotten out of hand.
