The Media Specialists and Reading Coaches of Highlands would like to thank the following for their support of the visiting author, Alane Ferguson, to several of our schools. It simply would not have been possible with them.

Alan Jay Automotive Management, Inc., Det. Jeff Fennell, Dave Greenslade of the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce, the Kenilworth Lodge, Lake Placid Breakfast Rotary Club, Dr. George Leidel, Dr. Stephen Nelson, Det. Kathy Perez, St. John United Methodist Church, the Parent Teacher Organization of Lake Placid Middle School, the student advisory committees of Avon Park Middle School, Avon Park High School, Lake Placid Middle School, Lake Placid High School, and Sebring High School, the culinary arts class of Avon Park High School, and the faculties, staffs, students, and administrations of each of the schools. A special thank you also goes to Sandra Rankhorn, Sebring High School media specialist, for all her work after hours!

Ms. Ferguson's presentations were memorable and educational. She set a high standard for our future author visits, but we hope to accept the challenge next year!
