AVON PARK — The rain storms that soaked the Heartland on Thursday interrupted play in the Sertoma Junior Golf Tour's event at Highlands Ridge South.
The All-State Championship is a two-day tournament with 43 competitors playing the South course on Thursday and the North course on Friday.
In the boys 17-18 age group, which managed to complete 16 holes before Thursday's rain came, Avon Park's Greg Gentry leads with a 68, while Clay Davis and Blake Liles are tied for second at 69.
John Vicker Jr. is fourth with a 78.
In the boys 15-16 age group, which also completed 16 holes, Jason Sava leads with a 71, while Taylor Barlow is second at 74, Aaron Walkup is third at 75 and Sean Garner shot a 78.
Austin Tracey leads the boys 13-14 division, which played nine holes, with a 48, while Cody Lang is second with a 55 and Daniel Miller is third at 56.
In the boys 9-10 age group, which played nine holes, Jhett Dexter is first with a 53, Ben Tubbs is second at 54 and Austen Flannery and David Degenaro are tied for third at 58.
In the boys 11-12 division, Silas Berry and Joey Staffieri are tied at 46 and Zach Garner is in with a 56.
In the girls 12-up age group, Camiel White leads with a 43, Paige Moffatt is second at 57 and Sarah Hunnicutt is third at 68.
Two age groups were able to complete both rounds and in the girls 11-under age group, Kendall Griffin won with a two-day total of 110, while Emily Waller placed second with a score of 125.
In the boys 6-8 age group, Julian Crozier won with a two-day score of 78, while Quinn Clark placed a close second with a 79 and Zach Doorlag came in third at 123.
The rest of the results from Friday's final round were not available at press time.

The Sertoma Junior Golf Tour, which is for youngsters ages 6-18, is in its 14th year and provides a competitive atmosphere for young golfers to hone their games.
The weekly tournaments are played at different golf courses in the Heartland, which gives the competitors a chance to play a variety of layouts.
The next Sertoma Junior Golf Tour event is slated for Golf Hammock Country Club on July 1, with tee times beginning at 9:30 a.m.
