Temporary Road Closure

LAKE PLACID – The following Lake Placid Roads will be closed to all but local traffic due to mason Smoak's funeral from 9 a.m. until noon, or shortly before, on Wednesday, June 25.
Hillside Avenue will be closed at Tower Street and Summit Street to all but local residents. parking for those going to the cemetery service will be at the Methodist Church parking lot and adjacent to Kent Avenue.
Persons wishing to park at the church for the funeral procession are asked to arrive via Kent Avenue.
Additional parking will be at the Tower parking lot. The Methodist church is providing a shuttle service for persons who have to park at the Tower area. Residents should expect a traffic delay when the procession begins.
