Triathlon To Be Discussed At Sebring Chamber Breakfast
SEBRING — The public is invited to attend the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce's breakfast meeting Tuesday, June 10 that will be held in the upstairs conference room at Florida Hospital Heartland Division.
It will begin at 6:45 a.m. and the cost is $8 per person.
The topic will be the Heartland Triathlon, which is set for July 12-13 in Sebring. Cheri Starr, the race director, and Patrick High, race coordinator, will talk about the triathlon and the kids race. Information will also be provided for those interested in participating in the event for the first time.
Real Estate Economist To Speak At LP Chamber
LAKE PLACID — The Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon will be held at noon Wednesday, June 11, and is sponsored by Seacoast National Bank.
The guest speaker will be Bill Pittenger, SVP, chief real estate economist for Seacoast. The luncheon will be held at the Lake Placid Elks Lodge. Cost is $8 per person.

Wright To Speak To Builders
AVON PARK — The Highlands County Builders Association has scheduled its general membership meeting Tuesday, June 10 at Trish's Paradise Grille at Highlands Ridge South, 3455 E. Fairway Vista Drive, Avon Park.
Attendees will have a chance to meet new Highlands County Administrator Michael Wright at the meeting.
It will begin at 5:30 p.m. with heavy hors d'oeuvres, refreshments and desserts. The program will follow at 7.
The costs is $20 per person. Reservations are required.

Sebring Dress Barn To Donate To Arbor Day Foundation
SEBRING — Dress Barn and Maurices Stores have announced their "Bring Your Own Bag" initiative where stylish, reusable bags that are now available for customers to purchase at the company's retail store locations. In an added effort, $1 from the sale of each bag will be donated to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant one tree in America's national forests.
"Thanks to Dress Barn and its customers, many trees will be planted in our national forests, adding beauty to the landscape, cleaning the air we breathe, and restoring habitat for wildlife," said John Rosenow, chief executive of the Arbor Day Foundation.
"We have a great deal of appreciation for the Arbor Day Foundation," said Carol Armstrong, district sales manager for Dress Barn in Sebring. "We hope to heighten awareness with our customers and invite them to make changes that will help make the world a better place."

Riverside Bank Appoints Rusnic Executive VP, Senior Lending Officer
FORT PIERCE — Riverside Bank has appointed Joseph M. Rusnic (Joe) as executive vice president and senior lending officer. He is responsible for leading a bank-wide team of sales and service professionals who deliver commercial lending solutions, retail lending including business banking and consumer lending solutions, and residential lending solutions.
Rusnic brings more than 26 years of banking experience to Riverside.
A native of Pittsburgh, Rusnic graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with honors, obtaining a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1982. He obtained a master's in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985.
