Mr. David Majick wrote a rebuttal article pertaining to the question of America having an oil shortage.
In his reference to my article questioning an oil shortage, he also referenced Mr. Lindsey Williams and his views that the North Slope of Alaska has enough oil to last us 200 years.
I do not know if Alaska holds enough oil to last America 200 years but I do know that we are shipping that oil out of America.
Mr. Majick, if there is such a shortage then why are we sending our oil out of the country? Is that the government who is taking care of us?
Mr. Majick also stated that "The skeptic demands evidence, and rightly so."
Actually, when I see gas prices going to $4 per gallon and above, that seems to be some kind of evidence to me anyway. Perhaps Mr. Majick would also like to expound about China and Cuba and their plan to drill for oil in the Gulf of Mexico near southern Florida?
Perhaps, the research done in this area is also skeptical?
As for oil spills from government referenced publications I am afraid that I am skeptical of a government who has allowed illegals to enter our country by placing a dry foot policy on our soil.
Other research has shown that Alaska's environment has not had a problem with environmental issues. Perhaps we should debate global warming next?
Hey! How about those new vehicles in India and South America that run on compressed air! Or better yet, let's just believe that our government is looking out for our best interests!
