On Wednesday, July 23 Highlands County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the residence of Michael William Bergeron where they spoke with his parents.

Bergeron's parents told deputies on Wednesday, May 28, Bergeron, 41, exited the back door of their residence and stated, "I will see you later, and I am out of here."

Bergeron's parents said they thought nothing of the behavior and actions of Bergeron, but further explained Bergeron has not returned home since that day.

Bergeron left his vehicle in the driveway and had an undetermined amount of cash in his pocket. Bergeron's bank statements have been received and there has been no activity on the account. Bergeron's parents stated Bergeron is bipolar and does not have his medication.

Bergeron's parents also indicated Bergeron is under the care of a counselor and they have left several messages on Bergeron's cell phone and have not received any response.

Bergeron is entered FCIC/NCIC as a Missing Endangered Adult.

He is 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.
