ERA Moves Into New Building

SEBRING - ERA Advantage Realty has moved into its new building and added seven agents to the staff.

The two-story, 7,000 square-foot office building is located at the corner of Hammock Road and U.S. 27 in Sebring. The agents and staff have been in the new location since around the middle of June, according to broker Greg Karlson. They had previously worked in the building next door.

The agents include: Anita Zahn, Linda Harrell, Andrea and Darrin Mills, Skip Walz, Shira Metz and Mark Pimentel.

Zahn brings six years' experience in acreage/equestrian properties, lakefront and residential sales. She received the top producer award in 2004 and 2005.

Harrell has earned the GRI designation and is multi-million dollar producer. She is focusing on buyers in ERA's international market.

Andrea Mills speaks German as a second language and communicates directly with ERA offices and clients in Europe, bringing local exposure to buyers to a whole new level. Darrin will complement ERA's full-service commercial division because of his background in local automotive businesses.

Metz's experience is in land, residential, short sales/bank-owned properties in Highlands and Polk counties.

Walz, who is originally from South Florida and a former owner of an automotive sales business, has experience in lakefront, acreage, residential and investment properties.

Pimentel is a member of a local zoning board and is experienced in land, development and investment opportunities (residential and commercial).

"We're poised to be bigger than we have ever been," Karlson said.

Karlson said sales have been strong despite the downturn in the economy with more than $23 million in current 2008 closed and pending sales.

Karlson said he is looking for a tenant to fill a 2,000-square-foot space in the building.
