SFCC Offers Safe Boating Class In August

AVON PARK - South Florida Community College's Community Education Department is offering a safe boating class.
The class is for anyone who operates a boat or personal water vehicle in Florida. Water emergency issues will be covered. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a Boater Safety I.D. card issued by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation, which is required under Florida law.
The class will meet Saturday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Highlands campus, Avon Park. The cost is $30.
Register in Building B at the Highlands campus or any SFCC campus or center.
