Those who oppose abortions call those who are pro-choice morally corrupt. One columnist even reasoned that there would not be illegal aliens in this country if those 50 million aborted babies had lived. Those 50 million would have jobs, thus negating the need to import illegals.
With that rationale, all those policies by President Bush would be justified. Please follow this logic. Even that great conservative, President Reagan, justifiably out-sourced 5 million jobs because 20 million babies were aborted. He even penalized the taxpayers by using their taxes to fund the transfer of factories off shore. In addition, he allowed those manufacturers to take their profits off shore to avoid paying taxes and allowed them to compete with those who stayed in country for more contracts to be off shored. Who would have believed such a scenario? Not I!
Ditto President Bush. He has allowed another 12 million illegals into the country to compete for jobs still here after another four million high paying jobs were off shored. He should be applauded because he significantly equalized wage scales. Those $15 to $35 an hour jobs were outsourced and the remaining "domestic" jobs were open to illegals who competed with American workers at $7, $8, and $9 an hour. It is a bit difficult, though, to grasp the additional equal free education, health care and lodging open to illegals, but denied American workers. Is this a great country, or what!?
This writer was completely unaware that Reagan/George W. Bush policies were tied to the number of abortions in this country. He reasoned that abortions were related to cost and perhaps medical complications, or rape and incest, or even girls having babies like rabbits. He also thought the out-sourcing was due to old fashioned greed. One lives and learns.
Has it occurred to anyone else that President Reagan's and President Bush II's policies were tied to the number of abortions in this country? Forgive the cynical conclusion that they were connected to plain old greed. Now, don't completely dismiss the basis for abortions as, "I can't afford another mouth to feed or can't handle some severe medical crisis." It's just that one must consider the consequences of so many abortions.
