ORLANDO - ORLANDO - Lake Highland Prep used a balance attack on Thursday night and ended the Lake Placid girls soccer team's season with a 5-0 victory over the Green Dragons in the opening round of Region 2 tournament.
The Highlanders are seeking their fourth straight trip to the Class 3A state final game, and took their first step by knocking off the Dragons. It was the final game in the five-year coaching reign of Liz Sottile, who said this season would be her last with LP.
