Gov. Crist was wrong for attacking and publicly stating that Allstate customers should seek coverage elsewhere. I have absolutely no affiliation with Allstate. I believe we pay too much for insurance and the industry controls too much of our daily lives. Our government should show some humility as they throw our stones from our glass houses.

County officials/taxing authorities are already plotting the raising of the millage to compensate for the losses if the tax cut proposal is passed in January; shame, shame. President Bush is working on a stimulus package to improve the economy. I know the proposal offers business incentives as well as money returned to all. I do not know what the exact amount will be but I am thinking around $500 and that is probably on the high side. Sorry, this will not fix the economy.

The aforementioned attack strategy should be employed by a government official towards the lending institutions that are repossessing the American dream of home ownership. It wasn't long ago recognition was given to President Bush regarding the great housing market, low rates, more young homeowners.

How about mandating some assistance to the people losing their homes? The repossession of our undervalued properties cannot help our already crippled economy. Why can't the lenders make some concessions; some cash flow is better than no cash flow?

Our government is so out of touch with reality. National debt, too many taxes, failing Social Security, border blunders, fuel and insurance costs, devalued currency, real estate market, foreclosures and failure of our government to respond necessitates change. Vote and look hard at Ron Paul; you will be hearing more and more on Ron Paul for president!
