Some of our citizens live in an unrealistic dream world. Having gone through part of World War II was not easy for me. The loss of innocent lives of women and children was indeed very tragic, but the alternative would have been horrendous.
Adolph Hitler vowed to find a sleeping America. He had gas bombs ready to kill everyone, but fortunately he did not have enough fuel to start the planes. Thank God for our presidents past and present, who have had enough courage to do whatever it takes to preserve our peace.
Shame on those who choose to bury their heads in the sand. We must never forget Sept. 11, 2001, or the horror of World War II. The naive thinking of those under the illusion that peace can be achieved without war is disturbing and in fact, dangerous.
