Does the new bio-fuel plant they want to build in Venus use magic to turn sweet sorghum into ethanol?
According to Bradley Krohn, this proposed plant will discharge "zero waste," make no noise, have no odor, use zero fossil fuels, and won't even discharge effluent from the bathrooms. Beware, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Please don't turn Venus into an industrial park. Here in our beautiful rural town, we can still see the stars at night. We can still hear the birds and spot elusive wildlife.
Louise England, executive director of Highlands County Economic Development Commission, said "We all treasure Archbold." That sounds like something a developer would say just before they pave something over. "We all treasure bears and panthers or wilderness or whatever, but sorry, it will just have to go, we need the land for human use."
Let them build this plant next to her house, not in our beautiful little town.
