Wildcats roll to 59-36 victory behind Lewis' 26 points

PALMETTO - PALMETTO - Arnold Lewis had a game-high 26 points and 12 rebounds and Mark St. Fort added 19 points and seven blocks on Tuesday night to lead the Hardee boys basketball team to a 59-36 victory over Avon Park in the opening round of the Class 4A-District 10 tournament.
The Red Devils, who arrived at Palmetto High School 90 minutes later than scheduled due to a bussing mix-up, were led by 11 points from Alonzo Robertson and 10 points from Virgil Cooper. The loss ends No-5-seeded Avon Park's season, while the No. 4-seeded Wildcats advance to face top-seeded DeSoto on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
