GAINESVILLE - Florida 4-H camping office is accepting applications online for a paid position with its 2009 summer camp program.

The Florida 4-H Camping office is looking to fill positions at all of the four camps located across the state: Camp Ocala, located in Altoona; Camp Cherry Lake, located in Madison; Camp Cloverleaf, located in Lake Placid; and Camp Timpoochee, located in Niceville.
The 10-week, camp staff position will last from May 17 until Aug. 4. Starting pay for camp staff is $220 per week with room and board included. Life guard certification through American Red Cross is provided.
In addition, transportation will be provided to the three weekend staff trainings prior to the camp season. Perspective applicants will be required to pass a basic background check and demonstrate an ability to work well with youth.
