Economic Forecast Breakfast Set In Lakeland

LAKELAND - Allen & Company Inc. of Florida and the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce present the 22nd annual Economic Forecast Breakfast to be held on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009 at The Lakeland Center.

This year's event features special guest speaker National Economic Forecaster Brian Wesbury and Dr. Tony Villamil. USA Today ranked Wesbury as one of the nation's Top 10 Forecasters in 2004. Ranked the nation's No. U.S. economic forecaster in 2001 by The Wall Street Journal, Former Chief Economist for the Joint Economic Committee of Congress (JEC) Wesbury is featured regularly on CNBC, CNN and Bloomberg Business TV. He is the regular co-host on CNBC's "Squawk Box." In addition, he is a contributor to the editorial page at the Wall Street Journal and his comments and writing have appeared in Barron's, Investor's Business Daily, Forbes and the U.S. News and World Report.
