Christmas Garbage Pick Up And Closures

Garbage pick up over the Christmas period will be as follows:

In the city of Sebring, Avon Park and Highlands County, there will be no pick up on Thursday, Dec. 25. Thursday's pick up will be on Wednesday, Dec. 24; regular schedule will resume on Friday, Dec. 26.

Banks will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25 and will resume normal hours on Friday, Dec. 26.

There will be no mail deliveries and the post office will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25. Normal hours will resume on Friday, Dec. 26.

The Highlands County Courthouse, Sebring City offices and Lake Placid Town offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25 and Friday Dec. 26; and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 29. Avon Park City Hall will be open on Friday, Dec. 26.
