In the land of the free and the home of the brave, we are fortunate and privileged to have the cream of the puff in our law enforcement officers.
It is delightful to hear how Officer Andrew Markham from Sebring Police Department went on beyond his duty to help Mr. and Mrs. Pekar from Lake Placid on the evening of Dec. 7. Our law enforcement officers serve you 24-7 and they are second to none.
Officer Markham is one of the multiples of officers who have made the difference in our lives at one time or another. These courageous, brave men and women are unique and deserve the upmost respect from us. Next time you see such a distinguished officer, wave, shake his or her hand and let them know how much we appreciate their services. Law enforcement officers are your friends and they work for you.
Sincere congratulations to these fine officers. These are natural born heroes, their superior officers like Tom Dettman, Commander Steve Carr, Susan Benton, the Florida Highway Patrol, F.D.L.E. and all other law enforcement officers, we are proud of you. Let's not forget the civilian personnel who work with these fine officers, they are also as important, courageous brave and unique.
