Hey Bob Goldsmith, referencing your "kudos" to the other entrants in the ongoing war of words, might I try to make some peace and clarify a couple of things?
First of all there was plenty of mud-slinging by both sides on election issues (and non-issues,) some accurate, some totally outrageous. That said, here's a news flash, the election is over and it's time for everybody to lick their wounds and move on!
Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, Barack Obama is not your "first black president in U.S. history" or "your president with a Muslim background" any more than he is my first of either aforementioned category. He will be our president, yours and mine, whether we like it or not, and he will take office in January.
So either get behind him and be supportive or move to Iraq or the country of your choice. Also, please don't give me any grief because I'm a "girl." I come from a long line of veterans, am married to a Vietnam vet and have never missed voting in an election, primary or general.
