SEBRING - The city of Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency board of commissioners will listen to a presentation Monday by Keith and Schnars, a planning company hired to work on the Washington Heights Neighborhood Plan.
This is the same presentation that was given to the new Washington Heights Concerned Citizens Group on Nov. 6, said Pete Pollard, executive director for the CRA.
"Actually the board hasn't received a formal presentation," said Pollard on Friday. "We wanted to receive input from the residents, the concerned citizens, before we made a presentation to the board."
This presentation being made by Jack Breed and Debbie Love, with Keith and Schnars, will contain an economic analysis, said Pollard. That's new, because it wasn't ready for the Nov. 6 presentation.
"That will help us in targeting the kinds of businesses the local economy will actually support," said Pollard.
The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 368 S. Commerce Ave., in Sebring.
The board will also review three façade grant applications: two for Swan Resource Services on two Circle Park locations, and one for Bill and Irma Timmons, on Lakeview Drive. It will also consider a design review application for Habitat for Humanity's administrative office.
