Remember when the price of oil started to escalate? Most of us poor saps knew that the trucking industry would have to raise its rates to transport food and all other merchandise; makes sense doesn't it? One hand washes the other right? We all knew that the price of all merchandise would skyrocket to compensate for the rise in transportation, right?
We got lucky, the price of oil took a huge dive, so am I wrong to think that the price of food and other necessary merchandise should follow suit? The cost of truckers' fuel has dropped more than 50 percent, so now, can someone explain to me why the cost of my pork chops keep rising?
Our only hope seems to lie with the new president; will he give his new Cabinet members an IQ test before turning them loose? Just a simple third-grade math test should solve this little problem, right?
