Well, Tropical Storm Fay has come and gone, however, it sure took its time leaving the state of Florida.
Although we Floridians should count our blessings, it could have been a thousand times worse than it was. When we see and realize the terrible outcomes from hurricanes and tornadoes in other states, we then realize how fortunate we really were.
However, we did get some much-needed rain for our state, so we Floridians really should thank the Lord that he showed us mercy.
Another thing we all should remember is that our Lord is in control of our planet Earth, and our Lord didn't promise us a "rose garden." We will have floods, wars and all kinds of disasters as long as the world stands, so let us all just give our thanks that the good Lord spared us a great disaster.
So we will just thank him for the rain, and pray that we don't have a really bad disaster in our future, as we know and realize that our hurricane season is not over.
From a thankful and grateful Floridian.
