In the Aug. 14 edition of Highlands Today there was a letter written by Randy Ludacer. Mr. Ludacer's hot button appears to have been activated by an innocent comment Sen. John McCain made about his battle with Sen. Barack Obama. McCain said: "I know how to win wars." Mr. Ludacer completely misunderstood the comment, although the media did not.
The reason I am writing this is to see if I can draw on the vast knowledge of Mr. Ludacer by asking him to help me develop a list of reasons why he thinks Barack Obama is qualified to be president of the United States at perhaps the most critical time in our history? Here is what I have been able to come up with and I hope that Mr. Ludacer can add to my list:
1. Obama is a gifted speaker and in fact is an orator and his glib tongue will promise you anything. He would have you believe that he can stand in a bucket and lift himself up by the handle (borrowed from Winston Churchill).
2. Obama is extremely arrogant, another necessary political trait, he reminds me of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Birds of a feather flock together.
What else can you add Mr. Ludacer? He has no real business expertise so there is nothing there. I am sure that you don't want to talk about his 20 years of closely following the greatest hate white America preacher ever born. So help me understand his qualifications please.
