What has happened to our country? I couldn't imagine things getting this bad to where our kids would have to pay to be involved in school sports. Several questions come to mind, one being, what happened to the monies the state lottery was to give toward the schools? Oh let me guess, it's all earmarked for FCAT.
After reading the article in the recent paper, I thought to myself it's just another way to keep our kids from being productive at something they're interested in and keep them in school. Face it, let's be real, a lot of kids are bored in school, and extra activities such as sports keep them interested, and with some parents, school work is first in order to participate in the sports or whatever the activity may be.
I'll pay the $20 fee for my kids to be involved, but at the ways things are some parents will not be able to pay the fee. Thank God change is coming.
