SEBRING – The majority of units in the first phase of the Schumacher Road Business Park have been reserved, according to the Realtor for the project.
Greg Karlson, broker/owner of ERA Advantage Realty, said 13 units have either been sold or leased in the business park, which is located next to Hill-Gustat Middle School in Sebring.
Businesses that will locate there include a fish market, contractor, karate school, a design company and a home school. Karlson said an investor has bought one unit and might take another.
Construction is under way. The units in the first phase, either 1,000 square feet or 1,250 square feet, are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Tenants are expected to move into the business park in early 2008.
"A lot of others are interested," Karlson said.
Karlson said he envisions perhaps an arcade and school-related companies including a testing center or a dance studio occupying space there. He said they would be "a natural fit."
The park will have three phases.
