I don't think the majority of our public will dismiss the Sept. 11 attack on our country, even though it has been six years – especially the ones who lost their loved ones.
I don't think we should ever forget the price some of our men and women paid in our past wars.
My own husband died this past year from service-connected injuries he received while serving in the Navy when we were attacked at Pearl Harbor.
This I will always remember, as well as all those people who lost their loved ones.
As you well know, we could have a repeat performance, like we had at our Sept. 11 attack. We cannot let our guard down. The terrorists are out to get us. We are disliked by most of the countries that our military men and women are fighting for.
Yes, our families must go on, even though they have lost their loved ones, but we cannot forget. As you well know, this fight we are having now, with the terrorists, is certainly not over.
Yes, we all must remember the Sept. 11 attack on our country. As true Americans it is too hard for us to forget. The battle with the terrorists will not be over until our brave men and women who are serving in a foreign land come marching home.
Let us all not forget the price they are paying for our freedom. They all are counting on us for their support, and we cannot let them down.
