Lake Placid Green Dragons
Senior quarterback Conlin Veley was the torch that ignited the Lake Placid offense on Friday night, scoring four touchdowns and passing for 244 yards in the Green Dragons 47-22 victory over the Moore Haven Terriers at Joe Brown Stadium. The win improves Lake Placid to 2-1 on the season, before heading into Class 2A-District 5 play next week against Tampa Catholic.

Sebring Blue Streaks
Sam Robinson's 21-yard field goal as time expired gave Sebring a 13-12 come-from-behind win against Okeechobee on Friday night. The win improved the Class 3A Blue Streaks to 2-1 on the season, while the loss dropped the Class 4A Brahmans to 1-2.Avon Park High School had a bye Friday.
