VELEY PASSES FOR FOUR TOUCHDOWNS IN VICTORY

MOORE HAVEN - MOORE HAVEN - Senior quarterback Conlin Veley was the torch that ignited the Lake Placid offense on Friday night, scoring four touchdowns and passing for 244 yards in the Green Dragons 47-22 victory over the Moore Haven Terriers at Joe Brown Stadium.
Lake Placid got production from its ground attack as well, with Chevontray Wilson rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown, as the Green Dragon offense scored its first offensive touchdowns of the season.
The Green Dragons racked up 432 yards of total offense, with the Lake Placid defense holding Moore Haven to just 285 yards.
The win improves Lake Placid to 2-1 on the season, before heading into Class 2A-District 5 play next week against Tampa Catholic.
