Mr. Streeter's latest tirade against President Bush is, like his previous ones, utter nonsense.
This country is not provoking Iran. It is they who are doing the provoking. They are the ones who are killing Americans every day. I have never heard of American roadside bombs killing Iranians.
Why does Iran need nuclear weapons?
If we are paying $90 a barrel for oil, it seems to me that we are doing a lousy job of "controlling and stealing" it.
While I abhor the thought of another war with Iran, if we do so, it will be because of their provocation, not ours. As much as you detest President Bush and Dick Cheney, Mr. Streeter, they are not the enemy. It is time you were more concerned about our country, not Iran.
President Bush and Dick Cheney really don't need "kickbacks" from Halliburton. They are doing quite well on their own. While you lament "poor Iran," you would do well to remember that if Iran should ever control the world's supply of oil, you had better dust off the cobwebs on your bicycle.
