For three years, you've spoiled me and allowed me to try to do the same for you.

I hope I did my part in successfully accomplishing your patient care needs.

Unfortunately, with the transition from a contracted facility to a VA-run operation which takes place Nov. 1, it was decided that someone else was more qualified than me. It was a privilege having that opportunity to work for you. I hope your VA care between us was exceptional.

Thank you for your smiles, prayers, support, care and acts of kindness. It's not that I didn't want to stay. I tried.

If you want to do one more thing for me, I ask this favor.

I am asking all veterans to help another veteran obtain the Purple Heart he deserves and never received. He has received a letter from Senator Nelson's office willing to lend a hand. Please submit a request to his office showing "your support" for this fellow veteran achieving this overdue award and honor. The veteran is Clyde Briggs who resides at the Palms of Sebring.
