Back To School Bike Nite Slated

LAKE PLACID — From 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, GHC Motorsports will host a Back To School Bike Nite to benefit the D.A.R.E. program.
All funds raised at the bike night will be donated to D.A.R.E., "so that children will continue to learn the dangers of drugs and alcohol," a brochure stated.
There will be bikers games as well as games for children. Food and music will be available.
McGruff, the crime dog, and Ronald McDonald will make special appearances.
D.A.R.E. officers will also be on site with their "tricked out" cars.
Trophies will also be given for Best of Show, Best of Show runner-up, in two classes, cruiser and sport bikes.
