A Caring Lady

I would like to take a moment to say thank you to a lady named Mayr Malool in the Lake Placid area. Ms. Malool has been sending care packages to our troops in the Middle East. My daughter is in Iraq and has been the recipient of some of these care packages.

To date, this special lady has sent 950 pounds in care packages to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait; and, she is doing this on donations and out of her own pocket. As you can imagine, this can be costly. So I would like to ask you, our neighbors, for any help you could give her in her endeavors. If you would be interested in lending a hand, you can reach her at 414-5345. She would be delighted to hear from you.

I would like to also thank the Lake Placid Jaycees for their continued support of Ms. Malool's efforts.
