We give thanks to God before our meals. We start all of our public and private meetings asking God for wisdom and guidance. Yet we won't allow God into our schools.
Where do our children learn good from bad and right from wrong; all the things that shape their lives for the future. They say that 62 percent of Americans think it is okay to give out birth control devices in schools and instructions on how to use them. God would not approve, so we don't let him into our schools.
We allow subjects to be taught from books that we would not allow in our homes. But a Bible is not one of the books that is used to teach our children, good from bad.
We are not allowed to have Christmas decorations or have a Christmas tree at our schools. Instead, we decorate with holiday decorations and have a holiday tree. Who's birthday are we celebrating, the birth of Christ or Holi?
Then we wonder why we have so much drugs, sex , a low graduation rate, even gang-style killings in our schools. Is the answer because they expelled God and won't allow him back in school to guide our children?
The world fact book states that 90 percent of the people in the United States believe in a God, while 10 percent don't believe there is a God. Our national motto is "In God We Trust." Do we? If so, why was God expelled from school? The politicians say it is to protect our rights. Doesn't that make you feel real good?
Remember to vote in the upcoming elections. And make your votes count from national to local. Vote to allow God back in our schools. Our children are depending on you.
