In regard to the recent article in the Tampa Tribune about Sen. Grassley's inquiry into mega churches financial information, you quote Alick Clark, a board member from Without Walls International Church. He states "I'm sorry to see all this happening. How many of these guys would be in ministry if there was no money in it? Not many, I can tell you." That statement says it all!
What a sorry excuse for a church. I thought ministers were "called" to serve the Lord. To think they are in it for the money is pathetic! and an insult to the many clergy people who are sincere in their service to the Almighty. That man should be ashamed of himself, and these mega churches should be forced to show how they spend the money that parishioners donate to the church. After all, the tithes are meant to help the church help the needy, not foot the bill for so called ministers lavish lifestyles.
