RE/MAX Realty Plus II To Relocate

LAKE PLACID – RE/MAX Realty Plus II is going to be moving from its current location up U.S. 27 a bit to a standalone building in Lake Placid.

The brokers and owners of RE/MAX Realty Plus and RE/MAX Realty Plus II purchased the ERA Advanced All Service Realty office in Lake Placid from broker/owner Ronnie Carter last month.

It is located at the corner of U. S. 27 and Lakeview Road. The address is 801 U.S. 27 N.

Laura Shirley, broker/owner of RE/MAX Realty Plus II, said the nine agents and two office staff members are expected to move into the new location by the middle of December.

Both the interior and the exterior of the building are being repainted. New carpet and doors will be installed and the kitchen is going to be redone. Office spaces are also being added.

New brick pavers will be put in and landscaping work has been done on the site.

"It will look totally different," Shirley said. "We're so excited; it's an incredible location."

More than $60,000 is being spent on improvements, according to Shirley.

The company is leasing space in the Publix shopping center. Shirley said she is trying to sublease the
multiple-office location.
