Highlands Little Theatre has done it once more, put on a production to rave about. The night of entertainment we enjoyed Saturday night as we tried to figure out "who done it" in their production of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" was nothing short of amazing.
There is no way to describe the set design and do it justice. Each of the actors and actress' had their part down to a science, as they had you setting on the edge of your seat. Then enough good things cannot be said on the lighting and sound effects. The whole play was of standing ovation quality. Thank each of the people who took part in making it that way, not only the ones onstage but all the ones behind the scene also. It took each of you.
Now for the dinner, my mouth is still watering as I think of that piece of prime rib I had. It sure made me wish I hadn't eaten all my salad, plus the roll I had to try. The baked potato was perfect, not three quarter done or turning brown from being over baked.
Then there was that hunk of chocolate cake that was ever so moist. The wait staff even provided doggie boxes for the ones who weren't like myself and wished they were a dog, so they could lick the plate. The wait staff was even "Johnny on the spot" if you dropped a fork, or needed more butter, tea or coffee. The young lady who had our table even went that extra mile, as my husband told her he was a coffee drinker big time. So before the play started she came and set a full carafe' of coffee in front of him, that sure earned her some points.
What I'm trying to say other than a big thank you to the people at Highlands Little Theatre for all their hard work. If you want a super night or afternoon of entertainment get out and go see "And Then There Were None."
