In an effort to eliminate some of what is being emitted by presidential candidates during presidential debates, I have come up with a "simple plan."

Once the parties have their presidential candidates established, this is what they should do.

Each presidential candidate could ask his or her opponent 50 questions that the opponent must answer, yes or no.

A. The candidate pledges that his or her name could not be put on the ballot unless they answer these 50 questions, yes or no.

B. Since each candidate would be allowed to ask his opponent the same amount of questions, there can be no claim of unfairness.

C. The voter would learn as much about the candidate by seeing the kinds of questions the candidate asks his opponent as he learns about the candidate by the way the questions are answered.

D. The questions and answers of each presidential candidate be available to anyone at anytime via the Internet, newspapers, etc., 30 days before the date of the election.

E. Any candidate who would not want to participate in this forum could have only one reason; they don't want the voter to know, who they really are!
