Nursing education classes to be offered at SFCC

AVON PARK --

A series of classes for nurses, social workers, chaplains and students will be offered in January and February at South Florida Community College in Avon Park.

The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium classes will begin Jan. 12 in lecture hall G-101 and will continue through Feb. 10. The classes will be held Tuesday and Wednesday with afternoon and evening sessions Tuesday and a morning class Wednesday.

All presenters are employees of Hope Hospice and are certified ELNEC educators.

There is no charge for the classes and 1 continuing education unit is available for each class.
