Statler Financial has moved
SEBRING - The offices of Statler Financial Services have moved.
The financial services company recently moved from the Carlson Accounting building into The Keys, a strip plaza of offices located directly south of Sonny's Real Pit Barbeque in Sebring.
The new address for the office is 803 U.S. 27 S., which is next door to Dr. Rulx Ganthier in the plaza.
"We are looking forward to the heightened exposure this location offers and for the opportunity to continue to offer our clients the very best in customer service," Philip Statler said.
Statler Financial Services offers Highlands County pre-retirees and retirees comprehensive retirement solutions, as well as tax reduction strategies.

Sebring Chamber plans mixer
SEBRING - Florida Land Partners and Arthur Rutenberg Homes will be hosting a Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce mixer from 5 - 7 p.m. March 4.
It will be held at the model in Highland Lakes Reserve, which is across from Cracker Trail Elementary School at 4032 Camp Shore Road.

Spa has new management
SEBRING - Back in Touch Wellness Spa in Sebring is under new management.
Claudia and David Cox, who are natives of Highlands County, took over the business on Feb. 8. Claudia has worked at the spa as an advanced nail technician.
They are holding an event from 4 - 6:30 p.m. March 1. There will be tours of the spa and free neck and shoulder massages.
Model A and Model T cars from Florida Flywheelers Park will be on display. There will be hot dogs available while supplies last.
The spa is now open on Monday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Its other hours are: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday, 8 - 5 Wednesday, 8 - 7 Thursday, 8 - 4 Friday and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday.
The spa is located at 2533 U.S. 27 S., at the corner of Sparta Road and 27.
Builders Association planning social
SEBRING - The Highlands County Builders Association has scheduled a member social meeting from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11.
The free event will be held at Highlands Today, 315 U.S. 27 N., in Sebring.
There will be food, beverages and door prizes.

Ashcraft participates in lecture series
AVON PARK - Alan Ashcraft, an Avon Park resident who is a CPA, recently was the guest speaker at the E.A. Anderson Endowed Lecture Series at the Southern Adventist University School of Business near Chattanooga, Tenn.
Ashcraft has been a senior accountant with Meadowbrook Golf Inc. in Davenport for the past 10 years.
Meadowbrook owns, leases, manages and maintains about 50 golf properties around the country. His background includes more than 30 years in healthcare, church, CPA firms and various management commentaries, pre-requisite closing activities and tax administration.
March TDC meeting canceled
SEBRING - The Highlands County Tourist Development Council's March meeting has been canceled.
The next TDC meeting will be April 1.
