La Quinta Inn and Suites opens in Sebring

Travelers passing through Sebring on U.S. 27 or visitors who might want to stay for a few days will have another lodging choice now with the opening of the La Quinta Inn and Suites hotel.

Located at 4115 U.S. 27 S., the hotel is under the leadership of General Manager Sherry Bartley. The first guest registered on Oct. 20, as the hotel officially opened for business.

The new La Quinta Inn and Suites offers guests pet-friendly three-star accommodations, a heated outdoor pool and spa, lush tropical landscaping, and meeting space for up to 60 persons, according to a press release.

Featuring 77 guest rooms and suites, the La Quinta also provides guests with free high-speed wireless Internet access, free Bright Side breakfast, free local calls, and a state-of-the-art fitness and business center.

All rooms feature 32-inch high-definition flat panel LCD televisions, as well as brightly lit work areas and ergonomic chairs to accommodate business travelers.

Situated near the intersection of U.S 27 South and U.S. 98, the new 39,000 square-foot property is the second hotel development in Sebring by Liberty Group of Companies. The company developed the Holiday Inn Express and Suites and Denny's restaurant on U.S. 27 North in 2006.

Future development plans for the La Quinta site also include a similar quick-service restaurant to be located along the frontage of the property.

A grand opening celebration is being planned for the first week in December.
