SEBRING - Donna Cassels believes she has the business background to be successful in a new venture.

Cassels and her daughter, Deanna, are the new owners of J&A Drive-Thru in Sebring.

The drive-thru, which is located at 177 U.S. 27 S. , will be reopening Oct. 1.

It will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:45 a.m. - 8 p.m. Cassels said the drive-thru will also be open Sunday but the hours have not been set.

Free coffee will be available during the week from 7 - 10 a.m. There will also be other specials.

She plans to expand the food offerings to include chicken wings, chicken sticks, chicken livers and gizzards as well as hot dogs, bratwurst and beef and pork sandwiches.

There will also be breakfast items such as sausage gravy and biscuits.

Cassels wants to put in some TVs for customers to watch while they are waiting.

Cassels' business experience includes selling insurance in Okeechobee and owning a barbeque restaurant there. Her family also owned a portable toilet business for 18 years.

The name of the business will not change, Cassels said, because it has an established identity.

"It's a really good opportunity," she said.
